Job Summary

Serve as a database administrator/operations specialist, providing technical support for the Game database platform and managing daily database operations. The position requires the ability to collaborate with DevOps and database technology teams to deliver high-efficiency database platforms running on the cloud for Company Game products.

Responsibilities

• Provide overseas (outside China) game production databases on cloud with 24x7 technical support and services.
• Troubleshoot and collaborate with the database technology team to resolve game database issues.
• Support first-level game database support on the cloud.
• Work with Company DevOps and database teams to perform schema changes and data modifications.
• Monitor production database platforms on the cloud.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in database management and support.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, CIS, or related technical field.
• Proficiency and hands-on experience with at least one of MySQL, Redis, or MongoDB, including backup/recovery, monitoring, and troubleshooting on cloud platforms.
• Experience with production environments on AWS and/or Tencent Cloud is preferred.
• Proficiency in Linux is required.
• Ability to quickly learn and work hands-on with new databases on the cloud.
• High sense of responsibility and team spirit.
• Good communication skills.
