Job summary

TikTok is inviting select students for an internship in the Data Platform Business Partnering team in Singapore. You will work on translating business requirements into scalable data solutions, build ETL jobs, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to derive actionable insights and dashboards.

The role focuses on hands‑on data warehousing, analytics, and exposure to real‑world challenges in a fast‑growing e‑commerce environment.

Qualifications

Pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in CS/SE.
Solid CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, SQL, and networks.
Proficient in at least one language such as C, C++, Java, Python, or Go.

Responsibilities

Translate business requirements into technical implementations for batch and real-time data warehousing.
Lead data modeling design and maintain ETL jobs.
Collaborate with business teams to define data metrics from the warehouse.
Build data products to support business analysis and decisions.
Participate in system rollouts, upgrades, and releases to improve efficiency.
Develop analytics and data applications to turn raw data into insights.
Apply data mining, NLP, and ML techniques to extract information from large datasets.
Create dynamic reports and dashboards to visualize findings.
