TikTok is seeking talented graduates to join our Data Platform team in Singapore. You will transform business requirements into scalable data solutions, design data models, and develop ETL pipelines to support analytics across the organization.

You will work with cross-functional teams to build data-driven products, perform data mining and ML techniques, and contribute to dashboards and reports that guide strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of CS fundamentals including data structures and algorithms.
• Strong SQL knowledge and understanding of computer networks.
• Proficient in at least one language such as C, C++, Java, Python or Golang.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical data solutions and build batch and real-time data warehouses.
• Lead data modeling and develop, maintain, and optimize ETL jobs.
• Collaborate with business teams to define data metrics from the warehouse.
• Build data products supporting business analysis and decision-making.
• Participate in system rollouts, upgrades, and releases to improve efficiency.
• Apply analytics and ML techniques to extract insights from large datasets.

Our Data Platform Business Partnering team is at the core of TikTok Local Services business, responsible for generating tremendous amount of data and providing accessing services and applications. Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and end-to-end solution designs into technical implementations, and build batch and real-time data warehouses.
• Lead data modeling design, and develop, maintain, and optimize ETL jobs.
• Collaborate with business teams to define and build data metrics based on the data warehouse.
• Build and maintain data products that support business analysis and decision-making.
• Participate in system rollouts, upgrades, implementations, and releases to streamline internal processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement analytical techniques and data applications to transform raw data into meaningful insights using data-oriented programming languages and visualization tools.
• Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning techniques to extract and analyze information from large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
• Visualize, interpret, and communicate data findings, including the creation of dynamic reports and dashboards.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s)

• Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms, SQL, and computer networks.
• Strong coding skills with proficiency in at least one programming language, such as C, C++, Java, Python, or Golang.

Preferred Qualification(s)

• Strong interest in data warehousing, ETL development, data analysis, and Local Services.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to quickly learn new business domains and technical concepts.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams and stakeholders.
