TikTok is seeking a Data Warehouse Engineer Graduate to join the Data Platform team supporting Global E-Commerce. This 2027-start role offers exposure to batch and real-time data warehouses, data modeling, and ETL development in a global environment.

You will translate business needs into scalable data solutions, build data products for analytics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define metrics and dashboards that drive insights.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and end-to-end solution designs into technical implementations, and build batch and real-time data warehouses.
• Lead data modeling design, and develop, maintain, and optimize ETL jobs.
• Collaborate with business teams to define and build data metrics based on the data warehouse.
• Build and maintain data products that support business analysis and decision-making.
• Participate in system rollouts, upgrades, implementations, and releases to streamline internal processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement analytical techniques and data applications to transform raw data into meaningful insights using data-oriented programming languages and visualization tools.
• Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning techniques to extract and analyze information from large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification(s)- Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms, SQL, and computer networks.
• Strong coding skills with proficiency in at least one programming language, such as C, C++, Java, Python, or Golang.
• Preferred Qualification(s)- Strong interest in data warehousing, ETL development, data analysis, and E-Commerce.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to quickly learn new business domains and technical concepts.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams and stakeholders.
