Introduction to Data Storytelling & Communication

This interactive, in-person workshop equips professionals in the property tech industry with the skills to transform raw data into compelling stories that drive decision-making.

Module 1: Introduction to Data-driven decision-making with AI

Learners will carry out exploratory data analysis in order to inform data-driven decision-making and set the stage for further data visualization and data storytelling with a brief intro to vibe coding.

Module 2: Data Visualization and Information Design

Learners will develop effective and aesthetically pleasing data visualization to communicate data. Learners will acquire the skills to select the right visualization as well as best practices for graph design.

Module 3: Data Storytelling and Storyboarding with AI

Learners will focus on data storytelling using narrative storyboards to transformation data visualizations into compelling presentation decks. Learners will work with AI to build and brainstorm their storyboard.

Module 4: Executive Communication and Learner Presentations

Learners will finalize their executive narratives and pitch their findings to a panel of judges for feedback. Learners will then finish with a learning retrospective which can leverage AI feedback.
