Job summary

Capgemini Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Data Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data strategies and architectures within banking domains. You will align data capabilities with business goals and drive transformational programs.

You will lead cross-functional teams, shape solution architectures for proposals, establish data governance, and ensure regulatory reporting requirements are met.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience leading data strategies, roadmaps, and implementations.
• Expertise in enterprise data architecture, including ER models, star schemas, and lifecycle management.
• Proven banking domain knowledge with regulatory compliance and reporting experience.
• Strong data migration planning, costing, and execution experience.
• Master Data Management expertise with Informatica MDM, Stibo PIM, Talend Data Fabric.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of enterprise data strategies and architectures.
• Guide cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions per proposed architectures.
• Collaborate with sales to shape solution architectures for proposals.

YOUR ROLE

Are you passionate about designing innovative data solutions that align with business strategies and drive organizational transformation? We are seeking a seasoned Data Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data strategies and architectures. If you have extensive experience in data engagements and a strong background in banking domains, we'd love to hear from you.

Architecture and Strategy

• Understand existing landscapes, client capabilities, and requirements to design scalable, high-performance, and reliable data solutions.
• Develop enterprise data strategies aligned with business objectives, including data roadmaps and transformation projects.
• Design and implement various data architecture models, including data warehouse, integration, and business information models.
• Provide strategic guidance, roadmaps, and detailed implementation plans for data solutions.

Leadership and Development

• Lead cross-functional teams to design and develop data solutions as per proposed architectures.
• Act as the primary point of contact for architecture design and development queries.
• Identify and adopt new technologies and methodologies to enhance performance, automation, and scalability.

Business Development Support

• Collaborate with the sales team to shape and design solution architectures for proposals.
• Participate in client meetings, addressing technical and strategic concerns.

Governance and Compliance

• Define and implement data governance frameworks, including assessments, roadmaps, and execution plans.
• Ensure compliance with analytical, regulatory, and compliance reporting requirements.

Experience and Qualifications

Primary Skills

• 15+ years of experience in data engagements, including leading data strategies, roadmaps, and implementations.
• Expertise in data architecture methodologies, including enterprise data strategy, data models (ER, star schema, normalized/denormalized), and lifecycle management.
• Proven banking domain knowledge and experience with regulatory compliance and reporting.
• Strong experience in data migration strategies, including planning, costing, and execution.
• Master Data Management expertise, with tools such as Informatica MDM, Stibo PIM, Talend Data Fabric.

Technical Proficiencies

• Data and Architecture Tools: PowerDesigner, ArchiMate, Toad, ERWin.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, Hive, Pig, Impala, MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, Snowflake.
• Programming and ing: SQL, PL/SQL, NoSQL, Shell ing, T-SQL, DAX.
• Design Methodologies: Inmon and Kimball methodologies, hierarchical models.
• Cloud and Web Tools: Amazon AWS, WordPress, Google Analytics/GTM.

Additional Skills

• Familiarity with TOGAF for architecture frameworks and DAMA-DMBOK for data management.
• Experience in tools like MS Project, JIRA, and rLean for management.
