Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks an IT Engineer (Data Services) to maintain and scale database platforms, install and patch systems, and ensure high availability for manufacturing and engineering data.

You will diagnose issues, perform performance tuning, create dashboards, automate operations, and collaborate with site customers on data-related requests. Proactive monitoring and on-call support are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/EE/CE/IS or related field.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL Server, Oracle DB.
• Programming/scripting with Java, PowerShell, Python.
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, patch and maintain database systems.
• Diagnose and resolve database issues to ensure high availability.
• Manage access, backups, and security compliance.
• Develop dashboards and reports for data operations.
• Collaborate with site customers on data needs and improvements.
• Provide on-call support and meet SLAs.
