Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle DB, Linux/Windows.
• Programming with Java, PowerShell, Python.
• Strong SQL and SQL Server tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade database systems, apply patches as needed.
• Diagnose and resolve database errors for high availability.
• Manage database access, backups, and security compliance.
• Perform changes to critical databases in manufacturing and engineering.
• Provide on-call support outside office hours.
• Ensure SLA targets and MTTR are met.
• Collaborate with site customers on new DB needs.
• Tune performance for high availability.
• Develop processes and runbooks for DB operations.
• Create and manage reports, dashboards for DBs.
• Propose and implement emerging DB technologies.
