Job summary

Allegis Global Solutions, a leading Contingent HR services provider, seeks a Data Scientist to support the OTCR Transformation Programme for a major bank. You will apply advanced analytics, model development, and data-driven insights to strengthen risk management.

Work with risk SMEs, technology teams, and the COO to drive transformation. Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in analytics, strong data modelling, and experience with Python, SQL, and visualization tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data-related field.
5–8 years of experience in data science or advanced analytics.
Strong foundation in data analysis, statistical modelling, and ML.
Experience with data cleaning, pipelines, and QA.
Experience supporting large-scale transformation or regulatory programmes.
Proficiency in data visualization with clear outputs for stakeholders.
Familiarity with risk frameworks and regulatory environments desirable.
Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and insights.
Develop predictive models and apply ML/ NLP techniques as needed.
Transform data into actionable insights for risk management and transformation.
Ingest, transform, and maintain datasets from diverse sources; ensure data quality.
