Job summary

French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore seeks an experienced Data Scientist to develop AI/ML solutions for predictive maintenance and condition monitoring of industrial equipment.

You will work with high-frequency sensor data, especially vibration signals, to build models for anomaly detection, fault diagnosis, and remaining useful life estimation, collaborating with subcontractors and system integrators in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in CS/EE/ME/Math/Stats/Physics from a reputable institution.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development and industrial predictive maintenance.
• Proven track record of delivering at least two end-to-end project lifecycles from data to deployment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and drive projects.
• Strong knowledge of data science, machine learning, signal processing, and time-series analytics, with proficiency in Python and related AI frameworks.
• Familiarity with vibration analysis, predictive maintenance, and condition monitoring for industrial equipment; knowledge of relevant vibration methodologies or certifications is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze vibration signals from rotating machinery using industrial sensing solutions.
• Perform feature extraction and signal analysis in time, frequency, and time-frequency domains.
• Develop, deploy, and optimize AI/ML models for predictive maintenance and condition monitoring.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to industrial AI and maintenance.
• Lead vibration-based predictive maintenance projects, coordinating with subcontractors and system integrators.
