Job summary

Yokogawa Electric Corporation in Bedok, Singapore, is seeking an AI Solutions Consultant to design, develop and deploy AI/ML solutions for predictive maintenance, process optimization and operational efficiency across industrial assets.

You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders, work with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and integrate AI with PLC, DCS, SCADA, historians and ERP; requires 5+ years in AI/DS, strong Python, and cloud/on-prem/edge deployment experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of hands-on AI/DS/analytics experience.
• Strong Python programming and data science library proficiency.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI and ML solutions for predictive maintenance, process optimization and operational efficiency.
• Build predictive and prescriptive models using classification, regression, forecasting, anomaly detection and optimization.
• Develop industrial knowledge assistants using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, embeddings, vector databases and knowledge bases.
• Explore agentic AI, multi-agent systems and reinforcement learning for industrial decision-making and automation.
• Develop AI-enabled recommendations to improve equipment reliability, productivity and performance.
• Integrate AI solutions with PLC, DCS, SCADA, historians, IoT platforms, EAM, MES and ERP.
• Deploy scalable AI solutions across cloud, on-premises and edge environments.
• Monitor model performance, data quality, explainability, security and responsible AI requirements.
• Collaborate with software engineers, automation engineers, domain specialists and business stakeholders to deliver practical AI applications.
