Our client is one of the world's prominent organisations in the manufacturing industry with yearly revenue in billions of USD. It is now looking to hire an experienced Data Scientist (Optimization/OR) for its regional Data headquarters in Singapore.

Requirements:

• PhD or Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 2 years of experience in PhD research or work experience in Decision Science, Operations Research, Math Programming, and Optimization.
• Individuals with a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience in Decision Science, Operations Research, Math Programming, and Optimization will also be considered.
• Domain knowledge in research & development, supply chain, operation planning, and/or manufacturing.
• Hands-on modeling/coding experience using relevant tools/libraries for Math formulation and/or Optimization.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, R) and database programming (e.g., SQL).
• Self-motivated, proactive, independent learner, and willing to share knowledge with the broader data analytics team to foster a learning R&D culture.
• Prior experience supporting and liaising with peers and business stakeholders, especially in the North Asia market, including China.
• You MUST BE currently based in Singapore with relevant work experience in Singapore.
