Job summary

WGT EHR PTE. LTD. is seeking a data-driven Data Scientist to lead end-to-end AI and data science initiatives, partnering with business stakeholders to translate challenges into scalable solutions. You will drive projects from ideation through deployment in collaboration with cross-functional tech teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in AI, data products, and project management, with strong Agile/Scrum skills and cloud platform familiarity (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM, CS, IT, or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in Technical Business Analysis, Technical Project Management, Product Ownership, or similar roles in AI/Data Science.
• Experience managing full AI/Data Science project lifecycle from requirements to deployment and handover.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.

• Prepare updates and business recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Facilitate UAT, deployment, and handover to BAU or support teams.
• Drive continuous improvement based on stakeholder feedback.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a business-oriented Data Scientist to lead end-to-end AI and Data Science projects. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges, translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions, and drive projects from ideation through deployment. Working closely with cross-functional technical teams, you will ensure successful project delivery, stakeholder alignment, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, gather requirements, and translate business needs into AI and data-driven solutions.
• Lead the full project lifecycle, including project scoping, planning, execution, testing, deployment, operational handover, and project closure.
• Define project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria while ensuring alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, AI Engineers, Developers, and Technical Leads to design and deliver technically feasible, scalable AI solutions.
• Manage project schedules, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and governance activities to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
• Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies to manage AI and Data Science initiatives effectively.
• Prepare and present project updates, technical findings, and business recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployment, and smooth transition of completed solutions to business-as-usual (BAU) or support teams.
• Gather stakeholder feedback throughout the project lifecycle and drive continuous improvement of project delivery processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in Technical Business Analysis, Technical Project Management, Product Ownership, or a similar role supporting AI, Data Science, or data-driven products.
• Proven experience managing the complete AI or Data Science project lifecycle, from business requirements gathering and solution design through implementation, deployment, and operational handover.
• Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, with experience managing cross-functional technical teams.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
