Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior analytics professional to drive data-driven portfolio growth through large-scale Visa transaction analytics.

You will develop executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, and strategic insights across the customer lifecycle to guide product strategy and marketing investments. The role emphasizes translating complex analyses into actionable recommendations for senior leadership, with a strong focus on data visualization, automation, and stakeholder

Qualifications

• A quantitative degree (Data Science, Statistics, CS, Economics, Engineering) required.
• At least 5 years in advanced analytics, data science, BI, or consulting analytics.
• Experience with large-scale datasets and translating data into actionable insights.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills plus robust analytics methodologies.
• Strong stats, data viz, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience presenting to executives with dashboards and management reports.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Excel and other reporting tools.
• Familiarity with statistical modelling, ML, predictive modelling, and customer segmentation.
• Awareness of GenAI tools and platforms for analytics.
• Strong business acumen and ability to turn analysis into action.

Responsibilities

• Analyse portfolio trends, customer behaviour, merchant spending, and market opportunities at market and group levels.
• Translate complex findings into clear business recommendations for senior management and executives.
• Executive Reporting & Decision Support: develop senior management dashboards, reviews, and strategic performance reports.
• Prepare executive presentations highlighting portfolio performance, trends, growth opportunities, and risk indicators.
• Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks to support strategic planning and reviews.
• Deliver insights to inform product strategy, marketing investments, loyalty initiatives, and portfolio management decisions.
• Data Visualization & Process Automation: automate recurring reporting and analytical processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Develop reusable analytical assets, reporting templates, and insight-generation frameworks.
• Engage senior leaders to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and define analytics priorities.
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior executives and key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analytics & Strategic Insights

• Analyse large-scale Visa transaction datasets to identify opportunities for portfolio growth, revenue enhancement, customer engagement, and profitability improvement.

• Develop actionable insights across the cardholder lifecycle, including acquisition, activation, spend growth, retention, attrition prevention, and customer value management.

• Conduct in-depth analyses of portfolio trends, customer behaviour, merchant spending patterns, and market opportunities at both market and group levels.

• Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations for senior management and executive stakeholders.

2. Executive Reporting & Decision Support

• Develop senior management dashboards, business reviews, and strategic performance reports.

• Prepare executive-level presentations highlighting portfolio performance, emerging trends, growth opportunities, and risk indicators.

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance measurement frameworks to support strategic planning and business reviews.

• Deliver insights and recommendations to inform product strategy, customer acquisition, marketing investments, loyalty initiatives, and portfolio management decisions.

3. Data Visualisation & Process Automation

• Automate recurring reporting and analytical processes to improve operational efficiency and scalability.

• Develop reusable analytical assets, reporting templates, and insight-generation frameworks.

• Engage senior business leaders to understand business challenges, identify opportunities, and define analytics priorities.

• Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior executives and key decision-makers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, business intelligence, or consulting analytics.

• Proven experience working with large-scale datasets and translating data into actionable business insights.

• Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and data analytics methodologies.

• Strong statistical analysis, data visualisation, and analytical problem-solving skills.

• Experience developing executive-level presentations, dashboards, and management reports.

• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and other advanced reporting tools.

• Experience with statistical modelling, machine learning, predictive modelling, and customer segmentation.

• Familiarity with the latest Generative AI (GenAI) tools and platforms.

• Strong business and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate complex analysis into practical business recommendations.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and manage analytical workstreams with minimal supervision.
