Responsibilities:

Join the WeChat team at Tencent and play an impactful role in maintaining the security and integrity of our platform. Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing behavioural trends to identify malicious activities and detect anomalies in the WeChat ecosystem via data analysis and machine learning.
• Devising strategies to track fraudulent accounts and protect users from spam or fraudulent activity.
• Deploying and maintaining machine learning models to help detect malicious accounts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or similar quantitative fields.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Experience in building machine learning or deep learning solutions.
• Proficiency in Python; knowledge of C/C++/Go is a plus.
• Self-driven, innovative, collaborative, with strong communication and presentation skills, capable of translating between business and technical audiences.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin to communicate with international stakeholders and those based in HQ.
