Job summary

Kyndryl Singapore is seeking a Data Scientist to advance agentic AI capabilities. You will shape transformation, build autonomous systems, and deploy scalable AI solutions using Python and Azure ML in a collaborative, high-trust environment.

You will work with a team of researchers and developers, pursuing open-source projects and contributing to academic communities. A PhD or equivalent is preferred, with experience in complex AI frameworks and microservice architectures.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent research experience in computer science, mathematics, AI, or a related field.
• Hands-on agentic AI engineering exposure - building or contributing to frameworks, not just using APIs.
• Strong programming fluency (Python) and architectural design (e.g. microservice ecosystems, message brokers).
• Ability to operate independently and collaborate within a high-trust, low-hierarchy team.
• Contributions to academic/technical communities and shaping open-source projects.
