Enterprise Data Science and Management (EDSM) is seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our Data Science team. Individuals in this role are expected to be comfortable working as an AI/ML Ops engineer and a quantitative researcher. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in studying customer buying behavior and a passion for identifying and answering questions that help us understand and fulfill the latent needs of customers.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the EDSM team to identify and provide insights for important Customer Intelligence questions.
• Solve commercial problems using AI to deliver social and economic value.
• Develop, validate, and deliver algorithms, statistical models, and analytical insights to achieve business goals.
• Analyze and interpret results of marketing/operations campaigns and experiments, recommending enhancements for future campaigns.
• Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analysis, model development, validation, implementation, and operations.
• Develop go-to-market strategies and connect strategy to execution around data infrastructure, AI operating models, and GenAI-enabled transformation.
• Create a culture of excellence and lead with confidence, charisma, context, and humility, working effectively at all levels.
• Provide thought leadership and establish best practices for instrumentation and experimentation, communicating these to EDSM and other Data Science/Analytics teams.

Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in a relevant technical field, or 4+ years' experience in a relevant role.
• Exceptional expertise in AI engineering, machine learning, and data science.
• Strong understanding of the marketplace for AI services with the ability to develop go-to-market plans with marketing teams.
• A passion for empirical research and answering hard questions with data.
• Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis clearly, precisely, and actionably.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jupyter, LLMs, PyTorch, TensorFlow, AWS Sagemaker, Google Vertex AI, Azure ML, etc.
• Proven track record of leading AI solution delivery from incubation and proof-of-concept to large-scale deployment.
