Job description

Aimazing is looking for a Data Scientist to join our team in Singapore. You will partner with engineers, designers and product managers to identify growth and scaling opportunities, help with hypothesis design, pre and post analysis and communication of results and recommendations. You will also be responsible to develop potential new methodologies and build platforms and tools to help grow and scale the business.

In This Role, You Will

  • Researches, shadows, and interviews customers to understand business needs and processes
  • Works with business system owners to understand the flow of data in systems
  • Defines experiments resulting in ad-hoc statistical analysis or machine learning models
  • Defines and builds necessary data or machine learning models to create or enhance BI reporting, business systems, or forecasting models
  • Collects, analyzes, and visualizes quantitative and qualitative data from the Enterprise perspective using advanced methods
  • Develops, optimizes, and automates multiple enterprise forecast models
  • Solves problems while aligning with Operations teams to solve/implement processes that enable teams to achieve their goals
  • Suggests data or AI-based solutions to processes to drive more efficiency and scalability
  • Keeps up to date with latest data science and AI trends

You Might Thrive In This Role If You Have

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Data Science roles within dynamic, outcome-driven organizations.
  • Expertise in statistics and causal inference, applied in both experimentation and observational causal inference studies.
  • Proficiency in quantitative programming languages, such as Python and R.
  • Expertise in SQL, with extensive experience extracting large datasets and designing ETL workflows.
  • Strategic and impact-driven mindset, capable of translating complex business problems into actionable frameworks.
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and cultivate strong partnerships.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across various functions to ensure business impact.
  • Ability to craft clear data stories using decks, memos, and dashboards to drive decision-making at every level.
