Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Data Scientist with deep expertise in computer vision and video/image processing to join our team working on advanced drone video solutions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing panoramic video algorithms, optimizing them for real-time use, and integrating them into autonomous drone systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement advanced video/image processing algorithms to merge multiple drone video streams into a single panoramic output.
• Develop techniques for video alignment, motion estimation, and real-time image blending.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate vision algorithms into autonomous drone platforms.
• Optimize and deploy computer vision models on embedded or edge platforms.
• Conduct rigorous experiments and real-world validations to test algorithm effectiveness.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation on designs, experiments, and findings.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, proposing technical recommendations or alternatives as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Vision, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision and image/video processing domains.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python and/or C++.
• Experience with libraries such as OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent frameworks.
• Solid knowledge in video stitching, multi-view geometry, and real-time video processing.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Able to work both independently and in team-based environments.
