Job summary

Zenith Infotech (S) Pte Ltd is hiring a Data Scientist in Singapore to join an agile product team. You will design, develop, and deploy data analytics products, including dashboards, reports, and ML models, guided by the Product Manager.

The role focuses on translating business questions into analytical problems, building robust ETL pipelines, and contributing to cloud-based digital healthcare analytics initiatives. Experience with Scrum is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience translating business questions into analytical problems.
• Experience in machine learning and statistical data analysis on large datasets.
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modelling.
• Proficiency in at least SQL, Python or R, and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Requirement gathering and translating business questions into analytical requirements.
• Carry out data audits and technical feasibility assessments.
• Design, develop, implement and maintain backend ETL pipelines, AI/ML models, database tables, and frontend data analytics products.
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Conduct end-user training, handover training and product demonstrations.
• Perform migration to new technologies as needed (ETL or analytics tools).
• Regress testing and code retrofitting to support platform migrations.

This project is about the digital transformation of the medical systems through the use of modern digital healthcare solutions, cloud technology, data analytics and AI.

Job Responsibilities

Work closely as part of the agile product team to design, develop, test and deploy data analytics products (e.g. interactive dashboards, reports and machine learning models) under the guidance of the Product Manager

Key responsibilities

• Requirement gathering and translation of business questions into technical and analytical requirements
• Carry out data audits and technical feasibility assessments
• Design, develop, implement and maintain backend ETL pipelines, AI/ML models, database tables, and frontend data analytics products
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Perform vulnerability assessments, code quality tests, user acceptance tests
• Conduct end-user training, handover training and product demonstrations
• Perform migration to new technologies where required (e.g., switching of ETL or analytics tools)
• Perform regression testing and code retrofitting to support tech refresh / platform migration

Job Requirements:

• Preferably have completed at least one (01) project using Scrum or equivalent Agile development framework.
• Experience in translating business questions into analytical problems and using statistical techniques to derive actional insights
• Experience in machine learning and statistical data analysis on large datasets.
• Strong knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modelling
• Proficiency in at least one tool / language under each of the following area:
• Relational Database Language (e.g., SQL)
• Programming Language for AI/ML/Statistical Studies (e.g., Python, R)
• Data Visualization Tool (e.g., QlikSense, PowerBI, Tableau) ETL Tool (e.g., Informatica, Talend)

Other Information

• Work Week: Monday to Friday (8:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Work Arrangement: Full Onsite - Central West Region
• Salary: S$6,000–S$7,500 (with guaranteed and variable bonuses)
