Job description

What the role is:

The Data Scientist will play a critical role in the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions to support the automation and deployment of Smart Contracts.

What you will be working on:

The successful candidate will work closely with the Legal Division (LED) to identify, extract, and transform relevant data from contracts to serve as inputs for the AI model. This involves compiling, cleaning, and processing the data to create a comprehensive and reliable dataset.

He/she will structure and optimise the algorithm by working iteratively with LED to incorporate legal and policy requirements into the model’s architecture and conduct tests on the algorithm.

To improve user experience, he/she will develop a user-friendly interface for the software and ensure that it integrates effectively with existing systems. He/she will also assist in carrying out user acceptance testing and refining the system based on feedback.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proficiency in Python programming is necessary.
• Proven experience in AI/ML engineering roles, particularly involving large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows, and the development and deployment of LLM-based agents, is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to tackle complex challenges and develop innovative AI solutions in scalable, production-grade code.
• A passion for keeping abreast of the latest AI/LLM developments and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and clearly explain complex AI concepts to non-technical audiences.
