Job summary

GovTech Singapore is launching the Technology Associate Programme (TAP) for aspiring Data Scientists. You’ll transform data into decisions, solving public sector problems and deploying ML models. You’ll learn through structured rotations and mentoring across Data Science, Cybersecurity, Software and Product Management.

You’ll gain hands-on project experience, training, and a clear path to grow as a data scientist contributing to nationwide public service initiatives in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python and data science libraries.
• Solid grounding in statistics, probability and ML fundamentals.
• Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP) or interest in taking models to production.

Responsibilities

• Turn real-world challenges into data science problems and translate them into ML solutions.
• Build, evaluate and deploy machine learning models into production.
• Experiment with the latest AI tools while maintaining privacy, fairness and public trust.
• Collaborate in an agile, fast-moving environment across government domains.
