Job summary

HP Inc. seeks a College Intern in Data Science in Singapore to help digitalize operations, track and visualize manufacturing and outbound quality. You will design, build and maintain data infrastructure and pipelines, develop data models, ensure data quality and security, and generate actionable insights.

Ideal candidates have a CS/IS/IDEng background, strong Python/Java and SQL skills, and the ability to work on a 5–6 month full-time internship starting January 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Industrial Engineering.
• Commit to a 5–6 month full-time internship starting January 2027.
• Strong programming knowledge in Python or Java and expertise with SQL databases.
• Analytical thinking and ability to understand operations processes and root-cause analysis.
• Knowledge in statistics and probability.
• Good visualization skills in creating real-time dashboards and charts.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers to accelerate operations and visualize manufacturing and outbound quality.
• Design, build and maintain data infrastructure, pipelines and architecture.
• Develop data models and ensure data quality and security.
• Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, codebases and workflows.
• Generate actionable insights through data analysis and understanding of operations.
