Job summary

Singapore Pools (Private) Limited invites applications for a data science role focused on building and sustaining analytics pipelines and ML models in production environments.

You will collaborate with strategy and technical stakeholders to implement analytics solutions that support SPPL’s long-term strategic initiatives, including automation, monitoring, and robust documentation. A strong background in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Machine Learning or related quantitative field.
• Demonstrated experience building, deploying, and operating data science or ML models in production.
• Strong Python skills and exposure to LLMs.
• Working knowledge of SQL and PySpark for large-scale data processing and model pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Identify, undertake, and implement analytics projects with strategy team and technical stakeholders.
• Translate analytical requirements into well-structured, efficient code within scope and timelines.
• Support end-to-end implementation of analytics frameworks and models with focus on quality and performance.
• Maintain and refine analytical models and pipelines for accuracy and stability.
• Contribute to productionisation and deployment of analytics with automation and version control.
• Support in-house analytics capabilities through reusable frameworks.
• Promote good software engineering practices within the data science team.
• Support integration with internal teams and external partners.
• Help execute SPPL’s long-term strategic initiatives through analytics.
