Job description

Our client, a well-established European bank with a strong global presence, is seeking a meticulous and driven Quality Control Analyst to join their Operations team in Singapore. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment where you’ll play a key role in upholding operational excellence and ensuring regulatory compliance across Treasury, Securities, and Loans operations.

Coverage includes control in operational aspects such as Treasury, Securities, and Loans operations, including system flow reconciliation between Kondor+ and Avaloq, stock reconciliation, cash, and ledger reconciliation. For regulatory control, ensure daily submission of reports to regulators like EMIR, MAS, ASIC via the DTCC platform, and verify daily reconciliation of reported data to ensure accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform daily reconciliations and controls across Treasury, Securities, and Loans operations to ensure booking accuracy, cash flow alignment, and timely settlements.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting (EMIR, MAS, ASIC) via the DTCC platform, including reconciliation of reported data.
  3. Support internal and external reporting needs through preparation of periodic and ad-hoc reports and documentation.
  4. Identify and escalate operational risks or discrepancies, and collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
  5. Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including automation, system testing, and updates to operational procedures.
  6. Support internal/external audits and maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
