Job summary

Axiom is seeking Data Privacy Compliance Consultants to join our team in Singapore. You will lead data protection initiatives, implement DPIA processes, and advise on cross-border privacy requirements for APAC clients.

This role offers flexible engagement options (remote, onsite or hybrid) and exposure to leading global clients. Successful candidates will have substantial data privacy experience, strong regulatory knowledge of PDPA, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years in data privacy/compliance and implementing privacy frameworks
• Hands-on DPIA experience and translating regulatory requirements into controls and processes
• Solid understanding of Singapore PDPA and regional data issues; exposure to other regimes valued
• Excellent communication and training skills; legal background or in-house privacy experience is a bonus but not essential

Responsibilities

• Drive data protection programme: update policies, processes and guidance to ensure compliant handling of data
• Lead and manage DPIAs end-to-end and advise on risks and mitigations
• Support cross-border privacy compliance for APAC, aligning frameworks with local laws with local counsel
• Design and deliver privacy training and day-to-day compliance guidance, and provide general commercial/legal support when required

Currently, we’re hiring Data Privacy Compliance Consultants to join us with:

Key Requirements

• Circa 6-10 (+) years of experience in data privacy/compliance, including building or implementing privacy frameworks; legal or compliance professionals are welcome to apply
• Demonstrated hands‑on DPIA experience and ability to translate regulatory requirements into workable controls and processes.
• Solid understanding of Singapore PDPA and regional/cross‑border data issues; exposure to privacy regimes of other countries are also valued
• Excellent communication, stakeholder and training skills; legal background or prior in‑house/firm experience in privacy or commercial legal work is a bonus but not essential

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage DPIAs end‑to‑end and advising on risks and practical mitigations
• Support cross‑border privacy compliance for APAC, aligning frameworks with local laws in partnership with local counsel
