About the Role

The Data Privacy Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects of data privacy, including handling data subject requests, managing privacy impact assessments, and supporting incident response.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Subject Rights Management: Manage and ensure timely response to privacy enquiries and complaints from various sources.
  2. Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) and Third Party Assessments: Coordinate and trigger PIA for new and existing projects, perform annual PIA certification, participate in governance forums, and prepare responses for external questionnaires.
  3. Data Breach Incident Management: Collate information on privacy incidents, and report data breaches to Group Privacy.
  4. Gap Assessments: Conduct assessments on regulatory changes.
  5. Risk Control Self-Assessment: Perform Privacy RCSA and scenario analysis.
  6. Training and Awareness: Develop and maintain privacy training materials, facilitate training, and circulate awareness materials.
  7. Audits: Coordinate privacy-related audits and ensure timely closure of audit items.
  8. Reporting: Prepare and submit privacy metrics to stakeholders.
  9. Privacy Champion Programme: Implement and manage the privacy champion initiative.
  10. Other Matters: Ensure compliance with local privacy laws, facilitate privacy solution implementation, stay updated on regulations, and support organizational objectives.
