Job summary

Singtel Group is seeking experienced professionals to join our Software Development, DevOps and Infrastructure teams in Singapore. You will design, build, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications and services across on-premises and cloud environments.

Collaborate on APIs, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and network security while delivering reliable production support and security compliance for a large, diverse technology platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of software development and 3+ years in DevOps or cloud admin roles.
• Experience managing enterprise production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications.
• Develop APIs, web applications, integrations, and backend services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues.
• Perform code reviews and enforce software development standards.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications.

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Infrastructure Management

• Administer on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

Network, Firewall & DNS Administration

• Configure and maintain enterprise firewalls.
• Implement and manage network security policies and access rules.
• Manage DNS services, domain records, SSL certificates and VPN connections.
• Troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues.
• Conduct security reviews and firewall audits.

Identity & Access Management

• Manage user access provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Administer Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and role-based access control.
• Implement least-privilege security practices.
• Conduct periodic access reviews and compliance audits.

Security & Compliance

• Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation activities.
• Implement security controls across applications and infrastructure.
• Manage system patches, updates, and security configurations.
• Support regulatory and internal security compliance requirements.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents.

Monitoring & Operational Support

• Monitor applications, infrastructure, and network services.
• Manage alerts, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Support production releases and change management activities.
• Maintain system performance and service availability.

Skills for Success:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or cloud administration.
• Experience managing enterprise production environments.

Required Skillset

• Software Development: Experience in C#, .NET, Java, Node.js, Python or equivalent, including RESTful APIs, relational databases and secure coding practices.
• DevOps & Automation: Experience with CI/CD and automation tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform or Ansible.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS; Google Cloud experience is advantageous.
• Containers: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; OpenShift is advantageous.
• Infrastructure & Systems: Knowledge of Windows/Linux administration and virtualization technologies.
• Networking & Security: Understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, SSL/TLS, Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash and/or Python.

• Relevant AWS certifications (e.g. Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
• DevOps/Container certifications (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker)
• Networking & Security certifications (e.g. Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet, Palo Alto)
