We are currently hiring for Data Platform Engineer to provide operational support for Data Platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with data product teams and business users to support and implement robust data platform solutions using leading-edge tools and best practices.
• Coordinate with external vendors to design, integrate, and deploy data platform components within the organization's existing IT environment.
• Ensure all data platforms meet internal security standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Define operational workflows and set up monitoring systems to track platform performance and uptime.
• Lead solution architecture for onboarding various BI and analytics projects—covering areas such as data ingestion, visualization, and governance—onto the organization’s data platforms.
• Conduct system testing and quality checks on newly deployed or updated data platforms.

Requirements:

• Must be a Singapore Citizen
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in roles such as data engineer, platform support engineer, or software engineer.
• Proficient in developing efficient, scalable applications using Python with solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Strong experience in deploying and supporting enterprise applications and data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with integration using relational databases (RDBMS).
• Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments and experienced in Shell scripting and command-line utilities.
• Familiarity with data integration and visualization tools like Informatica, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Bonus skills include experience with the following technologies:
• Databases: Snowflake, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Denodo
• Cloud: AWS services
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Understanding of DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, version control, testing automation, and documentation.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a natural problem-solver.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
