Rimes is seeking a Data Modelling Engineer to design scalable data models for financial datasets on Databricks, ensuring they are well-structured for downstream use and production-ready.

You will profile datasets, verify fields and formats, and collaborate with data engineers to implement mappings and governance using Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, and PySpark. This role blends hands-on exploration with shaping data workflows across the organization.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience designing production data models.
• Strong SQL and data profiling abilities with large datasets.
• Experience with Databricks and Delta Lake.

Responsabilidades

• Design scalable data models on Databricks using Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture.
• Profile new datasets to understand structure, data types and keys.
• Define source-to-target mappings and handling rules for ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Test sample data against models to validate mappings before production.
