Job summary

Visa Hunt in Singapore is seeking a Data Migration Analyst / Data Engineer for a 6-month banking project based in Central. You will analyse legacy data, migrate to new data marts, and develop automation scripts in SQL, SAS, and Python.

You will collaborate with business users for reporting transformation, perform data validation and testing, and contribute to a fast, results-driven delivery process.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Data Engineering, ETL, Data Warehousing or Data Migration.
• Strong SQL and SAS/Python skills.
• Experience with Hive, Impala, Hue or Hadoop technologies will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and migrate data from legacy systems to new enterprise data marts.
• Develop SQL, SAS & Python scripts for data processing and automation.
• Perform data validation, testing and reconciliation.
• Work closely with business users to support reporting transformation.
