A leading company is seeking a Project Lead for data migration efforts, responsible for overseeing project execution and team management. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years in IT Service Management with a strong background in banking products and data analysis. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
As the project lead, you will oversee data migration and analysis efforts, ensuring the quality and timeliness of deliverables. You’ll manage and mentor your team, drive collaboration across stakeholders, and proactively address challenges—even those beyond the scope of data-related tasks. Your leadership will be key in shaping project strategies and ensuring successful execution.
Oversee end-to-end data migration across various business units and technical teams.
Collaborate with business analysts, data analysts, IT teams, and users across branches to align on migration plans.
Develop and implement a comprehensive data migration framework in line with the Target Operating Model (TOM).
Design and deploy standardized tools and templates for the migration team.
Establish a clear reporting structure to monitor progress and identify risks.
Ensure transparency and effective communication through regular updates and risk assessments.
Lead governance efforts for data migration, ensuring critical decisions are properly reviewed and approved.
Proactively resolve project-related issues, even those outside the direct scope of data migration.
Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and Steering Committee.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
At least 5 years of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), covering full project lifecycles.
Proven track record in gathering business requirements, managing projects, and leading teams—preferably within the banking sector.
Solid understanding of core banking products such as Deposits, Loans, Remittance, Trade, and Treasury.
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in data analysis.
Strong skills in documentation and presentation using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Familiarity with ITSM frameworks like ITIL.
Experience working with diverse, cross-functional teams and strong client communication skills.
