A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Data Migration Lead for its SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementation. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of procurement/inventory data migration, from stakeholder engagement to mock migration execution, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires strong collaboration with functional consultants and the technical build team, making it an essential position contributing to the project's success.

Job description

Role Purpose
To lead and coordinate all procurement/inventory-related data migration activities within the SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementation, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely migration of procurement/inventory master and transactional data. This role focuses on facilitating the collection, transformation, validation, and final loading of procurement/inventory master and transactional data.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate discussions with business stakeholders to define scope, mapping rules, transformation logic, and reconciliation expectations for procurement/inventory data.
• Work closely with SAP functional consultants and business data stewards to align on procurement/inventory data requirements.
• Coordinate with the technical build team to ensure ETL development meets procurement/inventory-specific needs.
• Plan and manage execution of mock migration cycles (Mock 1, Mock 2, Full Dress Rehearsal), including tracking progress and resolving issues.
• Conduct briefings and working sessions with procurement/inventory users to ensure understanding and readiness.
• Troubleshoot and monitor data cleansing and load activities, ensuring timely completion, quality and completeness.
• Resolve reconciliation issues and support cutover and post-go-live stabilization.

Expected Outcomes

• Procurement/inventory data objects are migrated accurately and completely.
• Mock cycles and cutover activities are executed on schedule.
• Procurement/inventory stakeholders are engaged and supported throughout the migration lifecycle.
