Job summary

Allegis Group Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Data Management Specialist to be deployed onsite with a major global financial services client in Singapore. This is a full-time consulting role supporting enterprise data management within the Enterprise Data team.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in data management, data governance, and operational support, with strong SQL and data analysis skills to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance across critical business systems.

Qualifications

• CAT-1 clearance required for access to sensitive data.
• Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering or Accounting.
• Experience with SQL for querying and data analysis.
• Experience in data management operations, reconciliation and quality checks.
• Experience with design, testing, and implementation of data solutions.
• UAT experience and ability to document technical/functional specs.
• Data warehouse operations experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data quality and SLA compliance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and reconciliation.
• Analyze data and resolve issues to ensure accuracy.
• Handle user queries effectively and clearly.
• Perform UAT to validate data integrity and system changes before deployment.
• Prepare high quality technical/functional documentation.
• Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.

The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of professional experience in data management, data governance, and operational support. Strong understanding of data quality processes and proficiency with SQL and data analysis tools is essential. You will be part of a team ensuring accurate, consistent, and compliant data across critical business systems, contributing to initiatives that enhance data integrity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain data quality and Service Level Agreement compliance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and reconciliation activities.
• Analyze data and resolve issues to ensure accuracy and timely problem resolution.
• Handle user queries and requests effectively and clearly.
• Perform UAT activities to validate data integrity and system changes before deployment.
• Prepare high quality technical / functional documentation.
• Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL s for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.

Key Qualifications

• CAT-1 clearance is required as the role will have access to sensitive or controlled data.
• Degree holder in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or Accounting.
• Experience in SQL for querying database, ing and data analysis
• Experience in data management operations - reconciliation/quality checks for implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting within financial services
• Experience with the design, test, and implementation of data solutions
• Experience in performing UAT.
• Proven experience providing high quality documentation around technical/functional specifications. Data warehouse operations experience is a plus
