Job summary

Allegis Group Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Data Management Analyst to support a strategic enterprise data platform initiative for a financial services client. The role focuses on managing and monitoring data pipelines, ensuring data quality and governance, and driving enhancements across the data ecosystem.

You will bridge business users and technical teams, partner with Data Engineers, Data Stewards, and Analytics teams to ensure reliable data delivery, respond to stakeholder needs, and

Qualifications

• Strong SQL querying and data analysis skills.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data ownership concepts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Business analysis experience, including requirements gathering and documentation.
• Experience working within large enterprise or corporate environments.
• Experience supporting data management or data operations functions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily data ingestion pipelines and identify failures or processing issues.
• Coordinate incident recovery efforts and communicate impacts to downstream stakeholders.
• Support SLA adherence through proactive monitoring and issue management.
• Conduct data quality assessments and recommend remediation actions.
• Partner with data stewards to maintain governance standards and controls.
• Gather and document business requirements for data enhancements.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements for engineering teams.
• Manage stakeholder communications and provide updates on data issues and improvements.
• Work independently with business users to understand and prioritize enhancement requests.
• Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and develop comprehensive test scenarios.
• Validate data outputs and enhancement releases.
• Drive process improvements and recommend operational efficiencies.
