Job summary

Zurich Insurance in Singapore seeks a Data Analytics & Insights Manager for Commercial Insurance Asia to lead data strategy, monitor performance and champion a data-driven culture.

You will design dashboards, drive data quality, partner with global teams and brokers, and translate insights into actions for underwriting and distribution across the region.

This role requires extensive experience in Commercial Insurance and a proven ability to turn complex data into clear business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor underwriting/broker performance data; track submissions, quotes, binds, lost accounts and broker growth; translate data into insights with CDM/UW to improve renewal and new business.
• Monitor Broker SOW/Rank data and pipeline; derive insights with CDM/UW to improve renewals and new business.
• Drive data accuracy in linked systems; obtain inputs and maintain updates on pipelines, status changes, and lost accounts.
• Manage bulk updates in facilities, lineslips, tiering; interrogate data and fix discrepancies across platforms.
• Design and manage dashboards for underwriting performance by channel, lines of business, country, industry and customer segment.
• Collaborate with global and local data teams to connect data insights across business using tools like GPP, Neo, Insights360, Portfolio360.
• Assist LoB with rollout of new Global tools.
• Collaborate with brokers to validate data and ensure relevance for decisions.
• Link broker systems to Zurich to streamline pipelines and processes.
• Analyze economic trends to inform priority areas for the business.
• Analyze competitor intelligence and market trends to identify growth potential and gain a competitive edge.
• Use industry/country data to analyze and drive actions for strategy execution.
• Develop innovative data-driven approaches to support underwriting and distribution.
• Provide customer analysis for major opportunities and key renewals.
• Help Head of CDM Asia build an automated customer briefing capability.
• Support Head of CDM Asia in managing SCA budgets and payments.
• Champion data capabilities; train staff on dashboards and reports.
• Promote best practice in measurement and tracking across units.
• Serve as link between Asia and Group on CDM lead data analytics projects.
• Assist with day-to-day CDM activities as required.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Extensive experience in Commercial Insurance.
