Job summary

Ngee Ann Polytechnic seeks a senior data architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of the NP Data and AI platform architecture. You will drive scalable, secure solutions and embed governance, lineage, and quality across all layers.

Collaborating with schools, departments, and vendors, you will ensure architecture aligns with enterprise standards while enabling teaching, analytics, and institutional priorities.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in data architecture, governance, or related fields.
• Experience with cloud-native data platforms and governance frameworks.
• Background in regulatory compliance and data governance principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture design for NP data Lakehouse.
• Translate requirements into architectural specifications and standards.
• Define ingestion pipelines, medallion model, and storage strategy in Delta Lake.
• Architect AI/ML integrations and ensure scalability and security.
• Review designs for alignment with enterprise architecture and governance.
