Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or data quality within financial services.
• Good understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and data lineage concepts.
• Experience defining data strategies, target-state operating models, data capabilities and implementation roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
• Drive data quality initiatives, including defining controls, monitoring KPIs, and coordinating issue remediation.
• Support data ownership, stewardship, metadata management, and data lineage processes.
• Partner with business, technology, risk, and compliance stakeholders to ensure governance and regulatory compliance.
• Facilitate governance forums, stakeholder engagement, and training to promote data governance adoption.
• Support audit, regulatory, and enterprise data transformation initiatives through strong data management practices.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

We are currently seeking multiple consultants and senior consultants to support and drive the growth of our Data practice, particularly in our Data governance and data management stream. This is an exciting opportunity to be a leader, in a growing team of data practitioners, where you will be initiating and implementing cutting-edge data & analytics programmes for top-tier Financial Services clients.

This project is with a leading bank as a Business Analyst / Project Manager for Data governance and management project

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
• Assisting to drive data quality initiatives, including defining controls, monitoring KPIs, and coordinating issue remediation.
• Support data ownership, stewardship, metadata management, and data lineage processes.
• Partner with business, technology, risk, and compliance stakeholders to ensure effective governance and regulatory compliance.
• Facilitate governance forums, stakeholder engagement, and training to promote data governance adoption.
• Support audit, regulatory, and enterprise data transformation initiatives through strong data management practices.

SKILLS & EXPERTISE

• 3+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or data quality within financial services
• Good understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and data lineage concepts.
• Experience on supporting and defining data strategies, target-state operating models, data capabilities, and implementation roadmaps to support business transformation and data-driven decision-making.
• Familiarity with data enablement process and delivered different strategies for refinement and improvement
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Experience within Banking, Financial Services, Consulting, or other highly regulated environments is preferred
• SQL and relevant data governance certifications are advantageous.

ELIGIBILITY TO WORK IN SG
