An established industry player is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join their team. This entry-level position involves closely collaborating with supervisors to gather and validate financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all records. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in Excel. Work closely with supervisors / operations team to gather data on daily / weekly basis.
Perform daily data entry into system and retrieve invoices or other relevant documents.
Actively validate / verify and correct inaccuracies in the provided data within the team.
Handle ad-hoc data entry tasks and duties as assigned by the Manager.
Maintain financial records, ensure compliance and support reporting needs.
Requirements:
Education: study Accounting, Finance, Business Admin or related filed.
Experience: Entry level. Previous experience in data entry for finance related roles is a plus.
Skills: Strong attention to details and accuracy. Proficiency in Excel. Basic understanding of accounting principles, invoices and reconciliation.
