Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is looking for an Inventory Clerk to join their team in Bedok. The role involves receiving and verifying goods, data entry, and inventory control. Candidates should have at least N’Level certification and possess strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience in a similar role is an advantage as you support stock management effectively.

Job description

Location: East, Bedok

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receiving & Verification of Goods
    -
    Receive and inspect incoming goods from suppliers.
    - Verify quantities and conditions against delivery orders and purchase orders.
    - Report any discrepancies or damaged items to the supervisor.
  • Data Entry & Documentation
    -
    Accurately key in delivery orders and other relevant documents into the inventory.
    - Maintain up-to-date records of stock movement and transactions.
    - Organize and file both physical and digital documents systematically for easy retrieval.
  • Inventory Control
    -
    Assist in monthly and ad-hoc stock taking.
    - Help reconcile physical stock with system records.
    - Flag and report discrepancies to the relevant department.
  • Reporting & Communication
    -
    Generate and update inventory or stock movement reports as required.
    - Communicate with suppliers or internal departments to clarify order or stock issues.
  • Administrative Support
    - Support other clerical tasks as assigned, including photocopying, scanning, and filing.
  • System & Process Compliance
    -
    Ensure all data entry and record-keeping follows company procedures and policies.
    - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and documents.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $1,600 - $2,000 per month depending on experience

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (9am to 6pm)

Job Requirements:

  • Singaporean or Permanent Resident (PR) only.
  • Candidate must possess at least a N’Level Certificate.
  • Able to start work immediately will be an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of inventory processes and documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage.
