Job summary

Tencent Overseas IT is expanding its international operations and seeks top talent to develop and maintain overseas gaming data platforms and data pipelines, embracing AI-native data engineering practices to drive scalable, reliable insights.

You will model data warehouses for gaming data products, tackle data quality and performance challenges, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end data solutions that empower Tencent’s global growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS or related field.
• Strong programming foundation with OS and networking knowledge.
• Proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language (Python/Java/Go) and SQL.
• Familiarity with database principles (relational and distributed).
• AI-related project experience and familiarity with big data ecosystems (Spark/Flink/Kafka) preferred.

Who We Look For

• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Solid programming foundation with in-depth knowledge of data structures, operating systems, and networking principles.
• Proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language (Python/Java/Go) and SQL.
• Familiarity with database principles and usage (including relational and distributed databases).
• AI-related project experience and familiarity with big data ecosystems (e.g., Spark / Flink / Kafka) are preferred.
• Self-driven with strong accountability and excellent communication skills
