Job summary

QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey is seeking a data-engineering focused clinician to work on real-world, high-impact AI projects across multiple industries. You will partner with data scientists and engineers to design scalable data pipelines and GenAI solutions that deliver business value at speed.

You will collaborate with global teams, contribute to R&D assets, and help maintain the technical platform for advanced analytics engagements.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficient in writing clean, scalable code in Python/Scala/Java.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to cross-functional problem solving with clients and data owners to build analytics solutions.
• Design and build GenAI applications (RAG, Agentic AI) with data scientists.
• Map data fields to hypotheses and prepare data for analytics models.
• Build data pipelines for machine learning that are robust, scalable, and versioned.
• Support data environments and ensure information security standards are maintained.
