Data Engineer (12 months)

Key duties and responsibilities

• Support the data preparation for onboarding of new cedants and treaties onto hELIOS (SCOR’s operating platform for seriatim treaty management and administration)

• Support the development of data transformation and standardization modules in hELIOS

• Automate the data migration from SQL database into hELIOS, with proper cleansing and transformation

• Draw preliminary insights from the data and communicate any identified data issues with key stakeholders

• Design the data flow and infrastructure from hELIOS to other tools / platforms for the purpose of technical accounting and experience analysis

• Provide support on value-add services and data initiatives via collaboration with other departments

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous working experience or internship in data or actuarial field is not required but will be advantageous.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong data management and programming skills

• Proficiency in SQL, preferably with hands-on experience in university or work

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Required Education

• Degree in Data/Computer Science or relevant fields
