Job summary

Zenith Infotech is seeking an experienced Data Engineer/Data Platform Engineer to design, lead, and implement enterprise data warehouse, data lake, and data store solutions in Singapore. You will translate evolving data requirements into scalable data architectures and robust pipelines for analytics, reporting, and applications.

You will collaborate with project teams and business stakeholders to ensure data quality, security, governance, and accessible data delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, data lake, or data platform development.
• Proven experience designing and implementing data warehouses, data lakes, or enterprise data stores, with at least one end-to-end data platform or data warehouse implementation.
• Experience with ETL/ELT technologies and designing data pipelines for integrating data from multiple sources.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data modelling, data integration, data warehousing, and data lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Design, lead, and implement data warehouse, data lake, and data store solutions to support enterprise data collection, integration, archival, analytics, and application requirements.
• Define data architecture, data models, storage structures, and integration patterns aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Design and develop the Domain Group Data Store as an authoritative source for data collection, consolidation, and distribution.
• Build and manage data pipelines to replicate and consolidate data from national platforms, enterprise systems, and internal data sources into centralized data stores.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes to transform, cleanse, validate, and integrate data for unified access and downstream consumption.
• Enable secure and efficient sharing, enrichment, and distribution of data to support applications, analytics, reporting, and other data consumers.
• Collaborate with project and application teams to understand data requirements and develop appropriate data integration and delivery solutions.
• Engage stakeholders to identify new data requirements and translate them into scalable data models, pipelines, and storage solutions.
• Establish and maintain data quality, integrity, availability, and performance across data platforms.
• Contribute to data governance, security access control, metadata management, and data lifecycle management practices.
• Lead technical discussions and provide guidance on data engineering architecture, technology selection, and implementation approaches.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines, queries, storage, and processing workloads to ensure reliable and efficient data delivery.

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer / Data Platform Engineer who can design, lead, and implement enterprise data warehouse, data lake, and data store solutions. You will be responsible for designing scalable data architectures and building data pipelines that consolidate, archive, integrate, and distribute data for analytics, reporting, and applications.

You will work closely with project teams, technical teams, and business stakeholders to translate evolving data requirements into robust and sustainable data solutions, while ensuring data quality, accessibility, security, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of data architecture, data modelling, data integration, data warehousing, and data lifecycle management.
• Hands‑on experience with database technologies and data storage platforms, including relational and/or cloud-based data platforms.
• Familiarity with data sharing, integration technologies, APIs, and enterprise data platforms.
• Foundational knowledge of data security, access control, cybersecurity, and data governance.
• Ability to lead technical design and implementation activities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong planning, coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.

• Work Arrangement: Full Onsite - West Central Region
• Salary: S$7,000–S$9,000 (with guaranteed and variable bonuses)
