Job description

We are looking for a Data Engineer who will be responsible for architecting and implementing large-scale data intelligence solutions around Snowflake Data Warehouse. A solid understanding of architecting, designing, and operationalizing large-scale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop ETL pipelines using Python and Snowflake Snow SQL.
2. Write SQL queries against Snowflake.
3. Create scripts in Unix, Python, etc., for Extract, Load, and Transform (ELT) processes.
4. Provide production support for Data Warehouse issues, such as data load problems and transformation errors.
5. Translate requirements for BI and reporting into database and reporting designs.
6. Understand data transformation and translation requirements and leverage appropriate tools.
7. Automate data pipelines using cloud-based solutions.
8. Test and document implementations for clarity and ease of understanding.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience developing data integration jobs in Talend 7.3 (TMC) and 8.0.
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Knowledge of creating Dimensional Models, Logical/Physical models, and performing forward/reverse engineering using ERwin Data Modeler.
• Certified Data Vault Practitioner from Data Vault Alliance.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries with joins and subqueries.
• Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Knowledge of version control systems like TFS for SSIS and GIT for Talend.
