Job summary

Tencent is seeking an FX Quantitative Strategy Analyst to support the development and optimization of quantitative FX strategies within our cross-border payments business. You will leverage data-driven insights to improve strategy performance and strengthen the FX platform's data infrastructure.

You will collect and analyze FX data, monitor production strategies, and collaborate with business teams to deliver quantitative tools and insights that inform decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in quantitative analysis or development within a bank or financial institution.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and ability to identify meaningful trends.
• Solid knowledge of statistical analysis methods, data analysis and programming; able to run end-to-end analyses with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, model and analyze FX platform data to identify strategy opportunities.
• Quantitatively monitor and evaluate deployed strategies; optimize performance under varying market and business conditions.
• Build and enhance the FX platform's data infrastructure while ensuring data quality.
• Develop data-driven FX customer profiles to support business teams with quantitative tools.
