Data Collection Assistant/Technician (AI Training) – 1 Year Contract

Location: Boon Lay

Salary: $2000 - $2800

Working Hours: 9am – 6pm (Mon to Fri), 9am – 1pm (Alt Sat)

Job Scope:

• Operate X-ray scanning equipment to capture baggage images
• Organize and label images based on categories and standards
• Perform basic image edits (cropping, format conversion, anonymization)
• Annotate images to highlight specific objects (e.g., electronics, liquids)
• Ensure data quality and follow strict data privacy rules
• Work with engineers and data teams to meet project needs

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Comfortable with computers, file systems, and basic image tools
• Detail-oriented and able to follow structured processes
• Basic knowledge of image formats (JPEG, PNG) and file management
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Willing to work in secure environments (e.g., airport, lab)
• Python or basic scripting skills
• Familiar with annotation tools (e.g., LabelImg, CVAT)
• Interest in AI, machine learning, or computer vision
