We are looking to hire a Data Centre Specialist (Layout / Floorplan) in Singaporeto support our client, a top global investment bank. The ideal candidate will be responsible to read and interpret data center plans, ensuring efficient space utilization, optimal power & cooling distribution.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret data center floorplans
• Review and validate data center plans provided by vendors, ask relevant questions, and ensure alignment with requirements
• Engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders, share findings and proposed plans clearly and effectively
• Work closely with vendors and DCO Engineers to align on deliverables and ensure accurate implementation
• Design data center hall layouts when new space is allocated, based on operational and technical needs
• Evaluate technologies proposed by vendors and assess suitability against current and emerging data center technologies

Required Skills:

• Education Background in computer science, information technology, and/or engineering field
• Ability to read and interpret data center floorplans
• Knowledge of Data Centre power systems and cooling mechanisms
• Experience of Data Centre capacity management will be advantageous
• Past experience designing data hall layouts will be an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability collaborate effectively with partner teams, vendors and stakeholders.
