Main Responsibilities:

1. Support The Client PM on data centre construction programs, retrofit, upgrades, fitout and other pilot/special projects.
2. Act as the technical POC for local teams and connect with cross functional teams (Engineering and IT Operations Teams).
3. Support Regional PM for end-to-end responsibility from planning to handover of the fit out works on site.
4. Resolve issues promptly based on technical requirements or escalate accordingly.
5. Ensure work is performed safely with high quality of workmanship.
6. Communicate clearly with stakeholders about project goals and updates.
7. Coordinate teams across different offices and time zones.
8. Report on project progress and maintain stakeholder engagement.
9. Facilitate Kick off Meetings, progress reviews and conduct Site-walks.
10. Resolve critical issues while adhering to timelines and budgets.

Daily Work Tasks:

1. Work with internal stakeholders to ensure delivery of specifications and ordering of materials and equipment are done in a timely manner to ensure approvals are obtained and deployment plans are in place and implemented.
2. Keep track of and report on key milestones from the commencement of technical fit-out to completion for handover to Operations.
3. Conduct/drive weekly management and site meetings with GC/AE/Telecoms Contractors.
4. Coordinate with local construction project managers to align priorities and site management.
5. Work with internal teams to manage ordering, delivery and storage of Owner purchased materials (Vienna, Hyena, Fibers, etc) and parts required for the DC turn ups.
6. Review and track contractor deliverables.
7. Perform inspections, surveys & regular site walks.
8. Maintain checklist/tracker, raise punch items and drive punch list clearance.

• POEs (building point of entry)
• Network / Telecom Rooms
• IDF Room
• Server Floor

Qualifications:

1. Client-focused with excellent, effective and persuasive communication skills.
2. Analyze risks and offer solutions and mitigating actions.
3. Actively collaborate and manage client stakeholders, contractors and other vendors.
4. Environmental, Sustainability and Health and Safety focused.
5. Continuous improvement mindset.

Education and Experience:
What we’re looking for is a technical candidate with at least 5 years’ experience in the field. A post-graduate degree in engineering, construction, project / construction management is also a big plus. You will be experienced in managing multiple parties, vendors, stakeholders and priorities with various milestones. Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese. You will be detail-oriented and organized in your approach to project management. Ability to think, analyze and problem solve in high pressure situations. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to complete within specified deadlines. Singapore EP or PR holders. Unfortunately, we will not be considering those with Visa requirements.
