Job summary
A facilities management company in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual to oversee Data Centre Facilities Management. Qualifications

- At least 18 months of hands-on experience in DCFM required.
Responsibilities

Job Description
- Support essential fire protection systems (smoke detection, fire alarm, gas suppression, pre-action sprinkler).
- Administer and monitor critical M&E infrastructure using monitoring systems such as UPS Battery Monitoring, Water Leakage Detection, Security Surveillance, Video Analytics, Building Management, and DC Infrastructure Management.
- Be contactable 24/7 via mobile phone and respond to emergencies.
- Conduct routine checks on facilities equipment and environment to ensure seamless operations.
- Oversee regular servicing and maintenance, and ensure submission of service reports and documentation.
- Manage IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) documentation for M&E equipment.
- Prepare annual M&E maintenance schedules with appointed vendors.
- Maintain and update SOPs for data centre operations.
- Liaise with building landlords or facility management for building‑related works (e.g., power maintenance).
- Track infrastructure capacity (power, cooling) and provide recommendations for continual improvement.
- Submit timely monthly reports using approved templates and attend regular review meetings.
Job Requirement
- Qualifications (Engineer/Specialist):
- Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Facilities Management.
- Certified in Data Centre Operations (e.g., Qualified DC Certifications).
- At least 18 months of hands‑on experience in Data Centre Facilities Management (DCFM), including incident escalation, vendor management, and change/service request handling.
